The issues I have are with the selection of ETN, not because he got injured but because it was a pick that demonstrated lack of confidence in/understanding of James Robinson. There was very little attention paid to the offensive line and the TE position in the off season which was also problematic and the attempt to revamp the receiver corps resulted in disaster.

The "issues you have" are a pretty horrible indictment by themselves

Do you think I'm defending Meyer? If that's what you take from that, you're missing my point. I'm saying there has to be some rationality to how you evaluate it. Implying like FSG did that you have to start your draft picks or you did a bad job in the draft is not reasonable. There are experience factors that come into play, sometimes injuries and sometimes good players take a little longer to make the transition. Believe it or not, you CAN have a crappy coach who does some things right and good players who occasionally do things wrong.
