Do you think I'm defending Meyer? If that's what you take from that, you're missing my point. I'm saying there has to be some rationality to how you evaluate it. Implying like FSG did that you have to start your draft picks or you did a bad job in the draft is not reasonable. There are experience factors that come into play, sometimes injuries and sometimes good players take a little longer to make the transition. Believe it or not, you CAN have a crappy coach who does some things right and good players who occasionally do things wrong.

No, I'm implying that a 2 and 8 football team should have their rookies on the field playing. If they were 8 and 2 right now I'd be fine with how they've handled them, but they aren't. The season is already lost and not getting the kids all the snaps is just getting an early start on ruining next year.
