Well, we've had several seasons to see Gabbert so it's easier to evaluate him in retrospect. Much less for Lawrence. From a purely athletic standpoint they probably are in the same ball park. I think ultimately Lawrence will be a good (but probably not great) solid starter for us for years but it's hard to make an argument that he's showing that right now.

I don't know you very well but imma go out on a limb and say you know a little bit about football. Statistics aside Gabbert didn't look the part his rookie season. He looked shell shocked every snap. Lawrence has made plays and throws which would lead you to believe if we get this guy some actual weapons we'll be alright. So really my point in my first point was lets stop the comparisons from Lawrence to Gabbert
