Like Trevor early on and in college the man also would throw a dirt ball out of fear from a non existent pass rush, he was "seeing ghost" if you will much like our friend Sam Darnold. Another QB I said pre-draft was a blake bortles clone and damn if I wasn't dead on the head with that prediction as well.

You weren't paying attention then.

Arm strength/velocity was not a problem for Gabbert. Night and day different from Bortles in terms of arm talent.

You may be right about his arm strength, but in the multiple years I watched him play I either missed it or he never showed it. At least not in-game.

Bortles was very mobile, in fact he was a genuine running QB, it was one of the only things he could actually do well and consistently. From that standpoint, he was probably more mobile than Brunell in his prime although not as quick as Brunell, especially after the knee injury.  For pocket mobility, Trevor is probably closest to Leftwich. Kinda gangly, tall and skinny but both have/had the ability to slide around the pocket and can/could get up a head of steam if you give them the chance. In a 40 yard dash, I'd give Trevor a bit of an edge though.

Bortles was pretty slow but he was good when he took off. Lawrence slides so early it feels weird after watching Blake try to run people over at times lmao
