Should we revisit that hypothetical from a couple of months ago where someone asked if it would be better had we wound up getting Wirfs and Jefferson like everyone wanted, but it meant we picked #2 instead of #1 in the draft last year. Damn near everyone said no brainer they would rather have Lawrence, I was on the fence but leaning toward the two proven elite players + choice of 2nd best QB.

So, Lawrence vs Wirfs, Jefferson, not Urban, and our pick of Wilson/Fields/Lance/Mac? I think people might answer differently this time.

The only one of those qbs I would have wanted with hindsight is Mac Jones at a pick other than #1 overall.  But still would not have traded out of the top pick to miss out on Trevor.  I think he's everything you want in a qb.  We could have drafted a tackle and a receiver with our second and third picks rather than who we drafted.  The problem was the judgment of the drafters, not the draft position.
