The Lions fought hard before the team's  COVID-19, Flu, and overall injury situation ( which got worse in Denver yesterday ) became almost impossible to overcome. 


Ironically, though, it was in the Jacksonville-Tennessee game that a Lions screw-up came to mind yesterday.  Tennessee elevated DT Kevin Strong, who was with the Lions until a few weeks ago, from their Practice Squad yesterday.  He wore # 97 against the Jaguars.  Strong had 9 Defensive Snaps in the game.  I noticed that on 2 of the snaps,  one in the first half, one in the 4th QTR, Strong caused a Jaguars Holding penalty.  Even factoring the overall play by Tennessee's Defensive Front during the game, it wasn't surprising that the talented and high motor Strong made an impact.   Even with more depth in the Defensive Interior than any other position unit on the roster,  this isn't a player who should have been cut.
