I've been saying Carr is a better prospect than Manziel since before the new boards, and been getting blasted by TMD and others for that opinion. I understand why people are scared of Carr because the scars from Gabbert are still so fresh, but Carr's pocket issues are not even close to the level of Gabbert's. He get anxious with bodies around him, but he isn't scared and he doesn't panic like Blaine...and he also doesn't sense phantom pressure. 

 

Carr is also a very good athlete. His combine was just as impressive as Manziels (even moreso considering size difference), and on cutups he doesn't show it off nearly as much but when he does scramble he is very effective. 

 

We also saw how great of a leader Carr was during the SR bowl. He was the only player on either team that attended the other positions group meetings, and he was the only player that made a concerted effort to meet every player on his team and form a relationship. He and Jordan Matthews were also the only two players who stayed after every practice to get extra work in. 

 

Long story short, Carr is a dream prospect from every single standpoint except for one...and that one worry is being way overblown because we have dealt with a QB prospect with similar issues recently. Carr fixing his pocket issues is just as likely or more likely than Manziel fixing his plethora of concerns.
