It's not that simple.
Men have a much wider standard deviation on a lot of measurables than women do.
With intelligence, the average woman is just as smart as the average man. But the least intelligent man is much less smart than the least intelligent woman, and the most intelligent man is much smarter than the most intelligent woman.

Interesting. It begs the question, where did they find the least intelligent man and the least intelligent woman and how did they determine which one was dumber than the other?
