Theres no good reason on God's green earth that this team should avoid the QB position to the point where Henne is the full time starter next year by choice. 

 

I don't think the current regime wants to upgrade their interim QB.   I think they think that would be ultimately a waste of time.   I think what they want is the ultimate solution- the guy.   I don't think they want to waste their time with minor upgrades to the position of "temporary caretaker QB."  

 

There are probably better QBs out there than Henne, but I don't think the current regime is interested in just being better than Henne.   They want the guy.    They want a permanant solution. 

 

That said, I think if Bridgewater is there, they will take him.    But I have no evidence of it; it's just a gut feeling on my part.
