Agreed. If we stay 3-4 or switch back to 4-3, with Hutch/Thibs across from Allen, thats two strong pass rushers outside. You could kick Smoot inside, Ward inside, you have RRH, Hamilton, Tufele. Got plenty of depth.

I would improve the DB's to allow that rush to get home. Add some more talent that can maintain coverage and its a tougher D.

Sadly LB would still be weak but that would be the last big rebuild job on D and try and find guys that fit the 'do your job' role.
