I think we are in a worse shape along the OL going into the off season this year than we were last year.

At least last year, we knew guys like Linder were coming back...and we convinced Norwell to stick around.

But now, we KNOW beyond any doubt that Jawaan Taylor sucks, Norwell and Linder are likely gone.

The way I see it, we need to draft/sign no fewer than 3 offensive linemen. I think Walker Little has shown some good things, and for now I might be okay penciling him into one of the T spots, but we have to invest heavily along the OL.

If we think Little can play LT well, I think Cam Robinson walks, and we have to upgrade RT. If we keep Cam, then Little goes to RT. While that limits our immediate OL investment to the interior 3, I think we'd still need a longer term answer at LT. Even if Cam stays, I'd still prefer for the team to draft at least one potential starter at RT. He could be developed on the bench, and in case Cam falters or gets hurt, Little could switch to LT.

I would hope the new coaching staff might consider working Taylor in at G. Moving inside worked for Ereck Flowers. Maybe it could work similarly with Taylor.

But I'd still want to sign Scherff and draft a G and C.

This is why I want to trade back. All of these needs on the offense alone is going to require a lot of 2nd and 3rd round picks.
