Hoping Prescott's career day against them last night gets them thinking even more about coming up to get him. I would take Burks at WR and Linderbaum at C with the 19th and 20th picks and then look to bolster the TE, RT, WR and ILB positions with a pair of picks in RD2 and RD3. The value is all there for those selections to add up.
Burks at WR
Linderbaum at C
Linder moved to RG
Draft either Wydermyer or Kolar at TE
Draft either Ross or Tolbert at WR
Draft Christian Harris or Chad Muma at LB
Draft Raimann or Lucas at T

The thing is, if the Eagles keep those first round picks, they could use them to fill several defensive needs. If they trade, they will get one great pass rusher, but by keeping those first round picks, they might be able to get a DE like George Karlaftis, a LB like Nakobe Dean and a CB like Kaiir Elam. If those were guys they coveted, they might be able to get their defense back on track. By trading up, they would still have several needs to fill in the 2nd and 3rd rounds.
True. I don't see any trades coming up. I was looking at some of Matt Corral's highlights today. Ole Miss's QB.
He's not a bad prospect. Has some good pocket awareness, escapability, pretty good arm and deep ball accuracy when the pocket is kept clean.
I see a bit of Jalen Hurts in his game.
I just took a look at Kenny Pickett's highlights out of Pitt as well. He's pretty interesting. His pocket awareness and ability to move, step up and slide is there.
My main concern. His deep throws tend to "hang" too much up in the air. He can get a little too stiff and comfortable. The plays he was making on the run at times were off his back foot. I could see a lot of that working against him in the NFL. He doesn't have a lot of zip on the ball. He can run though. Sneaky with it.
If I am being honest. I see him as a Daniel Jones type in the NFL on the wrong team. But, he could be a poor man's Big Ben on a decent team.
Saw some of Malik Willis' highlights out of Liberty. Meh. Poor man's RGIII. Not really impressed. A lot of the passes are all 1st read and out or he's taking off with it downfield.
Only hope is Carolina, Washington, Pittsburgh or Cleveland wanting to come up if they end up liking one of them in particular during the combine and overall process. I mention Cleveland because there's been reports of Mayfield potentially on his way out. He also hasn't lived up to the hype.
