This was posted this morning and a couple act shocked when they find out we're gonna interview Hackett Thurs. It could still be Byron but a deal ain't done until it's done.  Rap pretty much said the same thing earlier as well

Schefter posted this morning, then Uche posted that he was wrong. 

PFT article I embedded in this thread also confirmed that contract talks had begun and were promising until a sudden halt this morning.

I gather that Byron was offered the job, and then “something” happened that led to the jags continuing their search.

Call it a hunch, but I’m pretty sure that something was Baalke
