So you've got to figure that during that long interview yesterday that compensation and GM came up. Those are not left unspoken until contract time. If the snag is Baalke downplaying Byron on the ride home with the Khans then WTH?!?! Especially if it's true that the Khans prefer Leftwich but Baalke prefers Eberflus. Who owns the team?!?!
If the Jags muck this up I don't know if I can take it. I can just see it now, they trot out Eberflus or Hackett at a press conference, and announce new HC is teaming with GM Baalke who has signed an extension (while Baalke sits close by skinning and grinning).
