Passing for 300 yards doesn't mean anything when you're losing by 30 midway through the third quarter and the other team has gone into a soft zone.

 

My recollection is different.  There were times, mostly in the second half of the year when the offense was moving the ball against the regular defense and looked pretty good doing it.  The final score doesn't always tell the whole story.  Of course there *were* times when the offense looked dreadful.  For whatever reason, I think people tend to only remember the negatives.
