Yep.

If they HAD to change the name, Red Hogs would have been best. It ties into part of the team's existing tradition and identity.

Commanders is completely lame, and it is an open invitation for the team to be called the Commies. They made it too easy for that one.

Washington Warthogs.
Washington Warhawks.
Washington Warriors.

Could have had a lot of fun with the logos and designs with some of these names. Warhawks would have been cool as [BLEEP].
