Wyoming Kids Learning Gun Safety in School

A reservist on drill told me how when he was growing up in the 60s and early 70s used to trade rat tails (as an effort to control rodent populations in local agriculture) for .22 ammunition on Saturdays in the local high school gym. This was in California.
I attended hunter safety class in my high school’s vo-ag building while in the 7th grade where we had to display ability to safely handle and safe a shotgun.

Now kids are suspended and labeled as dangerous if they make a gun symbol with their thumb and forefinger. We’ve progressed so far.
