Well, I'm just asking, should people be allowed to do this?  I see a lot of sympathy expressed on this forum toward the truckers who shut down the border, so I am asking, should people in a democratic society be allowed to force things out of the government with such tactics?  Or is it only people you agree with that should be allowed to do such things?  

I have principles.  I believe that in a free society such as Canada (or the US) people who break the law should pay the consequences.  We make changes with elections.  Not by doing things like blockading the border.

If people are willing to pay for their crime that's on them, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't have a voice. The problem is, no one is listening through "normal channels" so the people are doing what they feel they need to do. I definitely believe in the election process to affect change but people can't always wait for election day. They need to be heard now. 

The problem I have with comparing BLM and the Convoy is, though they both have legitimate complaints, they are completely different groups of people. It's not even the same conversation.
