In terms of news websites, though, NPR.org is pretty middle of the road. It follows the same pattern as CNN.com. It's hard to be suggestive and derogatory in print, while it's very easy in audio. That's why I always try to read my news rather than watch it or listen to it. There are radio programs that are too far left for NPR. Democracy Now is one.
