It's funny the differences of opinion on this subject.
The moderates seem to be the ones more aware of the extremes on both sides. It makes sense why they're so desperately clinging to the establishment. The problem is that it's the establishment that's creating the extremes on both sides. In that sense. Until the moderates sack up and form the largest body against the establishment, the extremists are in a battle for control. It stands to reason that what is going to eventually happen is the moderates will eventually capitulate to one side's demands, which will result in complete elimination of the opposing voice, and the result will be a government shaped by the new loudest voice. The worst part of this, to me, is that it's pretty clear right now that the radical left is far more authoritarian in its end game. We can all see it, but people are afraid to say it. Well, I guess some are just blinded by the control they have of the narrative. |
