I don't care how a guy looks in underwear running the gaunlet and skeletons. Remember how small Tebow looked compared to our already bad TE corps? McBride is the same size.

Then he went out and posted just ok jumps and skipped the 40 and agility drills. As I've said, athletic testing corrolates more to production at TE than any other skill position...and so far he is subpar especially for his size. We'll see what he does at the pro day.

It depends on the position. There are some positions where athleticism is vital and some where it's not as important. TE is one where athleticism is extremely important, especially straight line speed and explosion.

McBride is actually pretty good for his size (crazy even having to say that, he's [BLEEP] 6'4, 260). The majority of his production came out of the traditional stance and he was good as a blocker as well at the LOS. I think he's going to be solid at the next level. I think he's honestly going to be a slightly better version of Heath Miller for the next ten years. If he's on the board at 33 he has to be in the conversation. 

Here's a good breakdown and interview with him. Shows a lot of maturity and wanting to get better at his position with returning back to school, etc.
