You were doing so well until you said Linderbaum at 9. If you would have just said something like Walker or London...

All he did was continue to show how good he is by being the best rookie OT this past season. He was 2nd team All-Pro at LT behind Trent Williams.

Granted Slater was a much better prospect coming out, but size isn't always everything. If you can play, you can play.

Everyone thought Slater was a stone cold killer at LT, except for the short arms...and most people still really liked him at LT anyway. Hardly anyone thinks Salyer is a long term OT. This is more analgous to Jackson Carman from last year.

Walker isn't lasting until the #9 pick. Linderbaum is the best O-Lineman in this draft.

Maybe I'm wrong about Salyer. Maybe he can be a good LT. I'm just saying I prefer my OT's to be 6'4" or taller. I was wrong about Slater. He looked really good at LT, although I still believe he could be an All-Pro OG.

Good Lord, don't mention Jackson Carman. That's a sore subject here in the Cincinnati area.

Imagine if we could trade for Metcalf, re-sign Chark and draft Jahan Dotson? Maybe I'm dreaming, but that would be an exciting offense.

I'd take that trade, but I doubt the Seahawks would. There would still be some great options at pick 9. Would be very happy with either Ojabo or Karlaftis. They get a top 10 receiver plus a very good pass rusher to pass on Hutchinson.

Another possibility is trading back 1 spot to Detroit. I expect Thibodeaux to drop due to his antics at the combine and you know the Lions would love to have Hutchinson. I would do this for picks 2 and 34. Still not sure who I'd take with pick 2, but the candidates would be Thibodeaux, Ekwanu, Gardner and Neal. However, if the Jaguars really love Hutchinson by a good margin over anyone else it will be hard to make that trade.

If I trade back to #2, I'm taking the BAP, "Sauce" Gardner. No question.

Personally, I would take Jermaine Johnson ahead of Thibodeaux, Ojabo or Karlaftis.
