If I am Pete Carroll and in my 70s, do I really want to be around for a complete reset?

If I am Seattle GM John Schneider, do I wait till next year to take a QB with a new head coach?  Do I take one this year with a coach that may not be around for the long term?

Who else is on the trade block from Seattle?

It is a weird move. Personally, there is no way I would trade a star QB this season. Anyone you replace him with is gonna be a major downgrade, not to mention that their O-Line is a mess and they have no RB to speak of. I really thought they might've tagged Duane Brown, but they didn't. Given the state of the LT position for many NFL teams, he should be in high demand even at his age. I doubt he'd wanna re-sign with Seattle now that Russell is gone. They already needed an upgrade at RT, so they may be shopping for a pair of new starting OT's.
