Selfishly speaking, I hope they deal with us to get Willis, and then if they don't like him, they are in position to get one of the QBs next year if they do what Arizona did.

Of course, I could see them stand pat an take Willis at 9.

But the whole thing is curious from Seattle's perspective.

If I am Pete Carroll and in my 70s, do I really want to be around for a complete reset?

If I am Seattle GM John Schneider, do I wait till next year to take a QB with a new head coach?  Do I take one this year with a coach that may not be around for the long term?

Who else is on the trade block from Seattle?

Yeah this feels like a New Orleans situation for Pete Carroll to me.  Your star QB retires/leaves and then the coach does the following year because "[BLEEP] all that [BLEEP]."
