I'm not going to lie Arob scares me. He was never the best separator and he takes more of a beating going airborn for those 50/50 balls than pretty much any other receivers. He might just be on the downhill physically already. I am worried we could find ourselves in a Golladay type situation if we're paying 18-20M per year for him.
I know everyone says Gallup back to the Cowboys is a foregone conclusion, but why? I don't think they are going to come to a long term deal before legal tampering starts on Monday, why not just throw a 15-16M AAV offer out there? I'd offer similar to get Chark back too. Do another 8-10M for Gage and I'd much rather do that than give Arob an Amari or Mike Williams deal. |
