Not sure what you're getting at. Do you think an entire new playbook was drawn up for the final 4 games of the season? Or do you not think Schotty and Bev put the gameplan together and openly communicated strategy on gameday?

What I am getting at is that you refuted someone for posting speculation, and your entire premise is speculative as well. You tried to associate TLaw's improved final month as being due to the interim coach, but several here made a point to remind you that the interim coach had handed playcalling duty to the QB coach.

No, I in fact do not think a new playbook was drafted to end the year. But I do think that Bevell was either calling poor plays, not asserting his position with his head coach, or using a flawed playbook during his time as OC. It's highly likely that it was one or more of these causes for the poor offensive showing we had for weeks on end. I'll grant that the megalomaniac in charge previously would hamstring any coach, but either Bevell was unable to find plays in the book that agreed with both our roster's ability and the coach's vision, he did not take effort to convince the coach to take his recommended plays each week into the gameplan, or just tried to force the team to do things that did not suit them.

To say he had no role in the failure would be like saying Dave Caldwell didn't have a role in our implosion once Coughlin got his hands in the roster. He may not have bore all the blame, but he also did not do enough to undo the meddling that was hindering our progress. Coughlin was dismissed, Caldwell still had a chance to build. But, in the end, the implosion was still on his hands, in some part.

So what I'm getting at, if you are allegedly answering my questions:
Quote:Or do you have proof that what you infer was actual reality?

still waiting for that answer. without that proof, your stance is no more speculative than anyone else's around here. I'm good if we want to agree that everyone here is working in the realm of speculation, opinion, and educated guesswork. But at that point, none of us are qualified to assert any of our posts are more or less qualified than any others.
