To add to your point. It is extraordinarily rare for a playbook to dramatically change or shift during the course of the season. These is too much terminology, timing and systems in place to install, practice and perfect major changes during a season -- even during a bye week.

It may be possible to emphasize different parts of a playbook that were not previously, or build on specific concepts over the course of several weeks. But whole sale shifts do not typically happen.
