I think the biggest Q is whether KC can keep up with LA/oldLA. Mahomes' contract is slowly eroding away the talent on that team, and I haven't seen them doing much to keep the other teams from catching up to them.

My guess is because by the time we make a playoff run his gonna be on the downside of his career. If we could get Metcalf for a similar deal that would be a different story.

yeah, not gonna want to be taking a 40-ish MM cap hit on a 33-34 year old WR in a few seasons.
