Your crazy. Deshaun Watson (assuming he's still the same player as he was before) has instantly made them superbowl contenders. I really don't understand how blind the people on this board are to that mans talent.

How are they going to improve? They gotta win with what they got, if you put Watson on last year's team, how much further in the playoffs do you honestly figure they'd have gone beyond Wild Card?
Between his deal and Garrett (whose cap hit jumps to ~30M next season), they ain't gonna be able to wave some magic FA wand and build a team that gets them in the SB.

Browns fans I know aren't happy with the deal, and they're about as patient as our fanbase. If he doesn't have them winning in spite of their newly limited resources, they may start competing with us for greasepaint.

He's spent most of his career playing indoors. How's he gonna do with a wind whipping off Lake Erie and a wind chill in the teens? There's a lot of assumption going on that he's gonna step in and immediately win. I don't see it, and I hate that they mortgaged their future in an irreparable fashion to get themselves into this mix.
