My only hesitancy about taking Cine is that there is likely to be a receiver who falls to 33 who would be impossible to pass on. The best solution, in my opinion, would be to trade for D.K. Metcalf (not my original idea), take the best pass rusher at 9 and then take Cine at 33. Trading for Metcalf is not without risks, but if his foot injuries are not considered a problem he'd be the best possible option at the X receiver spot. My mock would then be:

1(9): Jermaine Johnson/Travon Walker/George Karlaftis-

2(33): Lewis Cine

3(65) Jamaree Salyer/Tyler Smith

3(70): Troy Anderson

4(106) Woods/Dulcich/Likely (best T.E. available)


My guess is that Baalke/Pederson will use some of their extra picks to move back up into rounds 2 or 3. That way, if they really love a guy like Salyer they won't have to pray he makes it past round 2.

I honestly cannot imagine a better scenario.
