Teams usually don't keep a guy around who's strictly just a designated return man only though. It's usually a back up WR, CB or RB who's farther down on the depth chart to save a roster spot.

Need to see what kind of versatility they have available from their back-up linemen come the end of camp to figure on how many WRs they could afford to keep without stashing one.

Yea fair enough, it's still a little early till we know what happens in the draft, but as per my edit above, it's a real discussion that needs to take place.
