- banned signs inside the stadium, notably while the team was awful, squelching fans ability to voice displeasure with the team or its owner. 
- dug in his heels over the team name, and only when sponsors severed ties and retailers stopped carrying their merch did he decide to explore the name change. This also led to the remaining minority owners seeking to sell their stake in the team.
- so many terrible personnel moves (spurrier, haynesworth, ancient Prime, etc)
