It's less what we don't have, and more the inflexibility of what we already have. If we're running 12 then we have yet to be acquired unknown X and unknown inline in the game, Marvin or Zay at Z, and Engram in the slot. Our top 10 paid WR is on the bench.

What would be more likely is having yet to be acquired unknown X and unknown inline in the game, Kirk shoehorned into Z where we have 3 seasons of proof of him being less effective, Marvin and Zay on the bench despite being paid starter money, and Engram in the slot.

Suffice to say, fleshing out these possibilities has not assuaged my worries. I just don't think there is a good way to run 12 personnel regularly with the pieces we have. We can run some bastardized likely far less effective version of it, or hopefully Pederson changes his philosophy to fit his personnel like the best coaches do and we run a whole lot of 11.
