Pederson said he wanted him back, but I think it's apparent Chark wanted out given all the organizational dysfunction with Meyer. Who can blame him?

He signed for one year at $10mil.  I read somewhere that we had offered him a 1-yr $7mil contract.  Speculation through the season was that he could be had for $12mil.  I figured he'd want more.

My point is that we low-balled him.  There's no way he turns down another $2mil from the Jags if it had been offered.  Seems much more like we didn't want him, and it makes me a bit sad.
