Jags should easily win 6 games next year just based on having the best coach they’ve had in 10-15 years and the best QB possibly they’ve ever had.

The fact that you just said garrard was a good qb completely explains alot about how this board views lawrence.

I judge Lawrence based on his play on the field. The fact that you even brought up brees is laughable tho. Even in those losing seasons drew put up really good numbers, thats a case of the team around him being the problem. Trevor was a part of the problem last year

You really seem incapable of reading someone else's post and actually thinking about what's being said.

Let me try to sum it up for you: if Brees, a future hall of famer and elite at the time QB with an elite head coach can have three losing seasons in a row then I'm sure it isn't out of the question that the team doesn't immediately take off, even if Trevor plays well.

QB is important, but even an elite QB can't completely carry a bad team.
