My response to the quote is the person saying they’d want to trade down in the second round. I don’t want to do that. I want to package our late round picks to move up as many times as possible in rounds 2-4.

Of course I’d like out of the first pick. But that’s not what I was responding to.

We need quality starters, which means we need more picks. Not less.

You gonna get those quality starters with the extra picks you got in round 5, 6, and 7?
