Not seeing that in any scouting reports from the time. There's a mention of a single DUI, but character-wise they talk up his love of the game.

That DUI was a major red flag and there were rumors at the time that he may have an issue with alcohol. After getting burned by Blackmon, I really changed my stance on drug and alcohol related red flags. I loved Blackmon and believed the issue was no big deal. I was wrong. Now, I wouldn't touch players with any of those kind of issues until day 3 of the draft, if at all.
