The Jaguars have botched the draft in more ways than I can imagine.

While, to my knowledge, the Jaguars haven't done what the Saints managed to do in 1975, there are still way too many parallels to the Jaguars than I care to think about.

Parallels like having a young, highly drafted QB prospect and not giving him enough help at WR.  Parallels like extended periods of losing.  Parallels like trading away talented players.  Parallels like seeing players you should have drafted go on to great careers while your guy is out of the league with minimal impact.

We HAVE to get MUCH MUCH better drafting.

I don't even need to watch the video, the Jaguars have drafted horrendously because they either have either had no ability to evaluate talent, or they have ignored talent for need. I believe Harris and Caldwell could evaluate talent decently, but constantly passed up talent early in drafts for filling roster holes, which is extremely stupid. I don't think Gene Smith could evaluate talent and didn't understand value, either. Baalke's record doesn't make me hopeful, but the team's owner either doesn't understand the importance of good talent evaluation, or just doesn't care.
