A lot of fans and many in the national press will consider him a bust even this year if he is not at least in the conversation for DROY. Anyone reasonable should know that is crazy expectations. But that is what people will expect.

The only way to make all this not be in issue is:
1. Win.
2. Have Trevor look like who he was projected to be. 

If the Jags do those things, no one will care how long it is taking Walker to develop.

Agreed.  I mentioned earlier today that none of these guys would be a first overall pick in a normal year.  So no matter who was drafted first would have to live up to unrealistic expectations based on their skillset.  Couple that with the fact that he is pretty raw and will need to develop, will be a ton of pressure on a guy that may not be very productive early on.  Hopefully he can drown out the noise and live up to the draft status.
