Here are some of my general day 1 impressions.

1) Aidan Hutchinson's mom. !

2) The TV guys describe every pick like it's a sure fire Hall of Famer. Out of 32 picks, probably 10 of them will bust, but on draft night, they're all incredible players who will solve their teams' needs. Then you listen to the team GM and HC, and it's more of the same. It's so easy to get fired up about your team's pick(s), but when training camp rolls around, and the veterans come in, these draft picks will just disappear into the roster; rookies trying to make it in the league. Then we'll see that these draft picks are not superstars, they're just more players for the roster.

3) Every year I watch the draft, and when it's our pick, I think to myself, wow, we just got a whole lot better. But then the draft continues, and other teams make picks, and I realize, oh, damn, everyone else is getting better, too.
