This trade was garbage in terms of recouping value. Monroe could be the most undervalued offensive lineman in the whole NFL. He was a rare bright spot in our lineup. With all our cap room, I don't see the issue in giving him the franchise tag next year and then seeing how the rest of the season progresses before assessing if he should be dealt. He is only 26. He is entering his prime and will likely be an even better player next year. |
