People were making fun of us for being the first team to ever make a move back for a future years pick and lose value on the draft pick value sheet (I can't imagine someone has tracked all of that, but I guess they do). We should have gotten a significantly better pick for moving back a year and throwing in a 7th rounder.

Normally I am against trading up. We did this 3 times. This was a necessity as no way there was room for 12 draftees on our roster. (half of them 6/7th rounders)  We really could have easily wasted the picks.  We made 3 trades with this draft capital. I think all the transactions were interesting as they ended up targeting a player we wanted.

We basically got a 1st for a 2nd, 4th, 6th.
                        a 4th (next year) for a 5th, 7th
                        a 5th for 2  6ths

I believe that to be pretty good trading. So yes, we are giving Baalke credit for that.
