I was a little surprised by the Walker selection, not because he doesn't have potential to be a terrific player but because I thought Hutchison was more ready for day 1. That said, the complaining about Walker is a little over the top in some comments. I agree it was a pretty good draft, I really liked the selection of Lloyd who could easily have gone much higher and Fortner who I think will be a quality starter on the OL by the end of the season. 

You can't rebuild it in one draft. They worked on the offense last year but Urbs no doubt interfered. If you look at the projected starters, this defense suddenly looks pretty formidable. Might be another year before they can do that with the offense but I like where this is headed. I have knocked Baalke in the past but I think he did a creditable job this offseason.
