When you dismissal involves a loss with two commas in the number, you are gonna want to do everything in your power to recoup that loss. I'll agree that he probably waited to see if any other team would bring him on for preseason tryout before filing, but I can't harbor ill will based on the suit alone.

The challenge for him, if this is not settled, is proving that the dismissal was retaliatory. The team can certainly argue that the dismissal was performance-based, as he was very inaccurate.

The team could have put him on IR just as easily, but how many teams do that if the only problem with a kicker is a case of the yips?

I honestly don’t know whether to hate Urban more for that or high five him.

You know he wouldn't do that to a 300-pound lineman.

Now think about him doing this to your 18 year old kid in his first few weeks on campus, because you know leopards don't change their spots.

I guess Urban bought a copy of Troy McClure's self-help video "Get confident, stupid!" and took it to heart.
