There is no perfect way to parent or to live life in general. 
The politics forum is for discussing what government should do.  There is no good reason for the government to prevent a kid from taking puberty blockers with his or her parents' consent.
That may not be what you would ha e done as a kid, or what you would do as a parent, but how is it an issue where you should use government to enforce your particular point of view.  We are talking about less than 1 in 100 kids. And they have a high rate of suicide.

You know what? You're right. Let's discuss ideas. I think to solve deaths from car accidents, all cars should be made of pillows and be limited to 4 mph. To keep people from being violent, we should cut their hands of when they are born, and once we know that they won't be violent, we can give them prosthetic hands. I sure am glad we're using this forum to discuss solutions to complicated problems. I really feel like we're getting somewhere. I wonder what other problems we can solve if we just jump to absurdity.
