My FIL has been a Democrat his whole life but at his age (74) he's old school Democrat, not this leftist nonsense. He has never thought about voting any other way and has voted D no matter who was running for any elected position.

He told us a few months ago he's not sure who he's voting for going forward but it won't be any democrats. To say we were shocked is an understatement. He said he doesn't know what happened but the democrats are no longer for the working man. I really wanted to ask what in particular make him come to this conclusion but I was so surprised it didn't occur to me to do so.

A man who has voted D for 53 years has abandoned his political party. These are crazy times y'all.
