No one in the Democratic Party wants to stand up to the far left, so they are all walking off a cliff together.

If they can win one voter more than the Republicans in enough states, they don't just walk off the cliff, they drag everyone over the cliff with them.  

I don't expect Trump to be the candidate and I hope he isn't.  If he is, are you really going to ride the "I Hate Trump" wagon over the cliff in the Democratic parade?  As unpleasant as it may be, isn't life with him as President for another 4 years a better option than the bottom of the cliff?

I'm not trying to send this thread back down the Trump rabbit hole, but since you asked, I will go ahead and answer.  

You're asking me if I would vote for an unstable criminal because I like his policies better than those of the other candidate.  

On the other hand, if it's Trump versus Elizabeth Warren for example- unstable criminal versus socialist demagogue.  Then the choice is pretty difficult.

I guess to answer your question, I can see some scenarios where I would just sit out the election.
