And I played and watched football in the era where clotheslining, the forearm shiver and chop blocking was SOP and Jack Tatum paralyzes Darryl Stingley without a roughing penalty. Games would be higher scoring for sure. That's what the league wants, right?

And equating 'wokeness' and player safety is just weak conflation on your part. Neither has anything to do with the other.
