He backed out of the Paris Climate Agreement.  That was a weak agreement but as it did not have an enforcement mechanism, so backing out didn't actually change any law or regulation anywhere.  But it did send a message that the US was going its own way.
A more concrete example is when Trump backed out of the Iran Nuclear Deal.  Stated motive there was to reimpose sanctions on Iran and curtail Iran's ability to interfere in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen.  Seems to have worked, but the risk is Iran actually gets a nuke in the meantime.
The main example of Trump bucking the globalist consensus is tariffs.

There are definitely powerful global figures that wanted Trump's agenda to fail for some of the reasons above, I just don't think any of them are powerful enough to create viruses or rig US elections.  
Trump lost fair and square and all by himself.
Meanwhile
Biden hasn't lowered any of Trump's tariffs, and
The nuclear deal remains dead.  Although it might come back, Biden isn't working in this area.  The EU is trying to negotiate a new deal with Iran than Biden may or may not join, and that deal may or may not even happen.
So if there were globalists unhappy with Trump, they probably aren't happy with Biden either.
