No, they paid their part, it was just a hella expensive surgery. It was only supposed to be laparoscopic and an overnight stay but when they looked in there they saw things they didn't see on imaging so it turned into a cut from navel to pubic bone, removal of part of my sigmoid colon and a four day hospital stay at Duke. Then, not even a month later another four day Duke stay because my pain wasn't being managed at home because the jacktards refused to prescribe pain meds. It was a Charlie Foxtrot of a situation but I'm alive.

I understand, I had an abdominal Laparotomy in 2014 that left me with a zipper scar from my sternum to my belt buckle. I had voids in the interior that were pooling fluid that subsequently became an internal strep infection. Lost a bit of the colon where the infection had penetrated it but it was only about an inch and a quarter removed. Surgeon said my insides looked like I swallowed a grenade that left fragment holes all over that he had to scoop and seal.
